As a vegetarian, foods that you need to consume to make sure you have a salutary vegetarian diet, may become boring and bland if you don't know what to do with them. Take beans for example. Beans for real are a good source of protein and are a low-fat food, but if you don't have very good recipes to spruce up your bean meals, you may stop eating them all together. If you do that, then you will be missing out on a lot of nutritional value that you can get from beans all because you may "fresh out" of cooking ideas. I just recently started cooking more often with beans. I went to the store one day and just grabbed a 2 lb bag of every dried bean that they had on the shelf. Right now, I don't have the slightest idea as to what I am going to do with all those beans but one thing is for sure; I have abundance of beans to cook with to try out any new recipes that I may create. Here is a appetizing and easy Cajun Red Beans and Rice vegetarian method that is packed with flavor. All you'll need are a handful of ingredients and a big pot or crock-pot and you will have a hearty vegetarian meal that you'll for real enjoy.
